Empanadas… I’m a sucker for these savoury snacks. You can imagine that when I walked by a shop specialised in empanadas I had to try them…all of them that is.

Clasico Argentino has several locations in Paris. I went to the one located at 8 rue du Pas de la Mule next to Place des Vosges in the Marais. The cool shop displays their tasty pastries in a glass counter as if they’re jewellery.

The store is quite small, which is why it’s perfect to take your empanadas for a picknick at Place des Vosges, a beautiful little park near a former house of Victor Hugo, the famous French author.

Clasico Argentino also makes ice cream and you can even get their comfort food delivered straight to your couch.
